Amazon Cash Lets You Add Cash to Your Amazon Balance at Local Stores

Amazon has announced ‘Amazon Cash‘, a new way to add cash to your Amazon balance at thousands of participating convenience, grocery, and drug stores.

Customers can request a barcode from Amazon that is delivered via text message or print-at-home. Bring that barcode into a participating store and show it to the cashier to add money to your Amazon balance.

The new service is geared towards customers that don’t have a credit card with which to make Amazon purchases.

Does Amazon Cash cost anything to use?

No, there are no fees to use Amazon Cash.

Are there limits to how much I can add to my Amazon Balance in an Amazon Cash transaction?

Yes, you can only add an amount between $15 and $500 in a single Amazon Cash transaction. Daily limits also apply and may vary by retailer.

What is the difference between my Amazon Balance and my Gift Card Balance?

Nothing. These are two different names for the same cumulative stored value balance you have available for use on Amazon.com.

When can I use the funds I’ve added using Amazon Cash? How will I know when they are ready for use?

Funds are available immediately after the cashier hands you a receipt for your transaction. We will send a confirmation notification to the email address or phone number registered to the account. If you have Amazon’s Mobile App notifications enabled, you will receive a push notification confirming your transaction. At any time, you can also view your Amazon Balance activity under Your Account.

Will I have one barcode for all locations?

Yes, you will only need one Amazon Cash barcode linked to your account. This barcode can be used every time you want to use Amazon Cash and there is no need to generate a new code each time.

AT&T Offers Free HBO Subscription With Unlimited Plus Wireless Plan

AT&T has announced that it is including a subscription to HBO as part of its Unlimited Plus wireless plan. The promotion applies to both old and new customers.

“Our customers want wireless entertainment on their terms, and we’re going to deliver,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Entertainment Group. “We are now including HBO when a customer has AT&T Unlimited Plus – giving you unlimited access to Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, VEEP and more.”

AT&T Unlimited Plus customers also get a $25 monthly video credit on DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW or U-verse TV. After this credit, AT&T Unlimited Plus customers can get DIRECTV Select package for $25 a month or DIRECTV NOW Live a Little package for $10 a month.

AT&T Unlimited Plus customers will benefit from HBO included in their wireless plan as follows:

• If you currently subscribe to HBO through an AT&T video service – DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW or U-verse TV – HBO will now be included for no additional charge.
• If you subscribe to an AT&T video service but not HBO, you’ll automatically receive access to the premium HBO channels as part of your wireless plan.

Developers between 13 and 17 years of age must have their submission completed by their parent or guardian who is an eligible member.
